Nesco Resource is in search of an Electrical Engineer to work one of our clients based in East Hartford, CT.
DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced engineer for development of LCD monitors and their corresponding electrical systems. Will be responsible for the design of hardware, firmware and software to perform a variety of control features within the monitors. Current embedded systems are based on Microchip PIC processors using a variety of interfaces (I2C, SPI, RS-232, Ethernet). The candidate would also be responsible for designing and testing LCD monitors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of circuit board level design experience.
- Experience in circuit design and PCB layout; experience with OrCAD or similar circuit design software.
- Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures.
- Experience with microprocessor design and corresponding firmware including I2C, SPI, RS-232 and Ethernet.
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills.
- Experience with LED lighting and working on LCD monitors.
- Experience with Optics.
- Experience with Linux.
- Direct hire with excellent benefits including 100% company paid medical

- Salary range: $80 – 120K depending on experience
