Vice President of Quality
World-class manufacturing company looking for an experienced leader to join their fast growing organzation. This Vice President of Quality role is responsible for leading a global quality team and enhancing collaboration across various functional teams to include technical, financial, regulatory and quality operations. This role is critical for setting and enforcing quality standards and driving strategic initiatives aimed at elevating organizational performance.
 
Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years in quality management within the semiconductor or electronic components sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in electrical engineering.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record in managing comprehensive quality systems and customer relations at a senior level. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the quality assurance team spread across various geographic locations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer quality standards and communicate these requirements effectively across departments.
  • Quality Resolution: Address and resolve any quality concerns arising from customer interactions promptly.
  • Strategic Alignment: Sync quality targets with the broader corporate objectives to enhance business operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization through strategic planning and execution.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage technical aspects of inspections, tests, and support both sales and procurement on technical matters.
  • Organizational Development: Foster growth across different organizational levels through active participation and leadership in various programs.
  • Quality Direction: Set clear objectives for the quality team that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Long-term Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a sustainable quality strategy to support long-term organizational growth.
  • Metrics and Risk Management: Monitor and manage metrics for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS): Oversee the enhancement of the QMS and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ESD S20.20, AS 9120, AS6081, CTPAT.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Handle critical regulatory filings and maintain up-to-date certifications.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reports on quality performance, compliance, and potential risks to senior management.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with financial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adjustments in the ERP system.
  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Act as the primary contact for quality audits, continuous improvement projects, and quality issue resolutions.
  • Quality Investigations: Lead and support investigations and resolutions of customer complaints to maintain high quality standards
