Nesco's client, in Naugatuck, seeks an Accounting Manager reporting directly to a dynamic Controller, to lead an accounting team responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, G/L analysis, reconciliations A/P/AR etc... The ideal candidate is a detail oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties:
- Develop, implement and monitor systems for general accounting team.
- Manage monthly accounting close for all entities including G/L, reconciliations,account analysis.
- Financial reporting and data compilation as needed – preparing P&L and balance sheet statements, providing auditors with information, and procuring ad hoc reports as requested.
- Lead and mentor team of 6.
- Support management as needed with analysis, reporting, KPI's, and more.
- Bachelor's in Accounting.
- 10 years of experience; familiarity with manufacturing environments a plus.
- Exceptional Excel skills are a must.
- ERP System experience a plus.
