Job Title: Wire Assembler

Salary/rate: $16.50-$19.00

                                                 Job Description 


Assembling an entire wire harness or component of a wire harness. Assembler will perform all tasks conducted in the assembly process including the use of epoxy, alcohol, solder and flux.

Duties:

• Use hand crimp tools.
• Solder contacts and wires to IPC standards.
• Insert wires into connectors.
• Ensure all cable assemblies are built to print and customer appointed standards.
• Certify F.O.D (foreign object Debris) is followed, visual and hand inspection for testing and quality purposes.
• Follow schematic to assemble, solder, test, troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Demonstrate superior dexterity, mechanical skills, and hand-eye coordination with small contacts and wire connections.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and wire schematics.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly including point-to-point wiring, cable harness layout, and basic mechanical assembly.
• Assemble and solder cable and wire components including PC boards, diodes, resistors and capacitors.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous Manufacturing and Assembly Experience Preferred
• IPC certified but not a must
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints and instructions.
• Counting and basic math skills required.
• Bilingual a plus
