Nesco Reource is hiring Quality Assurance Technicians in the Ford City PA area. This is a direct hire opportunity work for the company and enjoy their benefits on your first day! Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify parts are manufactured according to blueprint specifications, maintaining stringent quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Provide necessary tooling and gauges as requested by programmers or machinists, facilitating smooth operations.
- Initiate requests for quotes to procure essential tools and materials for production.
- Collaborate in setting up bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
- Maintain comprehensive reports for parts requiring rework or failing quality assurance, ensuring timely resolution.
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets proficiently for data organization and analysis.
- Complete detailed inspection reports to document quality control processes accurately.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or machining industries preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate technical information.
- Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and other relevant software applications.
