Do you have expertise in diesel engine repair? Our client, a family owned business specializing in tractor trailer sales, parts and service located in Muncy, PA, is looking to add experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to their team! Job Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
- Conduct state inspections in compliance with relevant regulations (CDL and state inspection license preferred).
- Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and drivetrain components.
- Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient operation of the maintenance department.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel engine technology.
- Detroit Diesel, Cummins, and Caterpillar qualifications are a plus.
- At least 1 year of Diesel Engine Repair experience
- Must have general tools
- Must be computer literate and be able to type and navigate engine diagnostic software
- CDL and State PA Inspection License preferred
- Ability to work every third Saturday
Hours: 7 am to 5 pm, Monday Friday
Pay: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
