Nesco Resource is working with a growing client looking for a Project Manager:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee all project(s) construction activities to ensure the project(s) are completed as safely as possible with the highest degree of integrity, quality workmanship, on-time performance, within budget, and with a satisfied client.
Responsible for implementing and executing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Projects and Project Team
Plan, organize and manage key staff positions to ensure the proper utilization of project personnel.
Establish project objectives and performance standards as defined by the Company's operating policies and procedures and the project turnover process.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend changes to keep the project on budget while still meeting the required specifications.
Maintain continual open communication with Procurement/Accounts Payable team related to all vendor and subcontracting partners.
Assume a leadership role in the project turnover process, all subsequent project meetings and lead all strategy planning initiatives.
Have a complete understanding of all plans, contract, and specification requirements to ensure the Company's interests are always protected, specific contractual obligations are adhered to and all work is completed accordingly.
Participate in the development of all project schedules, budgets and other project related reports. Ensure their accuracy and that any required updates are done in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the client, owner, engineer, vendors, suppliers and other project related firms and personnel to minimize conflicts and maximize the outcomes of all project activities.
Work closely with staff to resolve all conflicts such as failure of subcontractors to perform, failure of materials to arrive, contract disputes, and trade conflicts
Assist, as needed, with any project labor relation issues in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Continually monitor the performance of project personnel and take whatever immediate corrective actions are required to ensure the Company's policies and procedures are followed and Company objectives are met at all times.
Be a "Builder of People by actively promoting the advancement of Company personnel. Continually monitor employee skill development needs and growth opportunities and be proactive in recommending any skill enhancement/remediation initiatives needed. Actively support and utilize the Company's Employee Performance Evaluation Program as a tool in identifying specific employee training/career advancement/remedial needs.
Continually require accountability of project employee team members for assigned responsibilities.
Assume a leadership role in all project employee related recruitment, retention and training initiatives.
Support the Company's strategic planning initiatives and follow through with any assigned responsibilities to ensure success.
Seek out and participate in self-improvement, leadership development skill programs to further enhance individual effectiveness, achievements and outcomes.
Continually monitor project safety performance and initiatives to ensure compliance with all Company safety policies and procedures. Take immediate corrective action, when necessary, so as to protect employees and Company safety performance goals and initiatives.
Actively support and participate in, as appropriate, Company bidding activities as well as business development initiatives.
Play a key role in promoting the importance of client satisfaction and its relationship to the Company's reputation and its ability to obtain new and repeat business.
Maintain and Execute Project(s) financials: billings, collections, cost controls, forecasting, budgets, etc; through management of the Project Management team.
Demonstrated skill set and ability in delivering HV Projects nationwide ranging from 69kV-500kV
Must have proven performance in Contract, Estimate, and Subcontract Management Other responsibilities, as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A four-year electrical engineering degree or construction management degree or equivalent is preferred. 4-6 years of related experience may be substituted.
A demonstrated record of success in managing large and difficult multi-million dollar electrical projects is required along with a demonstrated knowledge of construction means/methods, finance, and management policies and procedures.
The ability to utilize innovative and effective leadership techniques in order to maximize employee and project performance are prerequisites.
