Job Title: Business Systems Architect II

Overview: We're seeking a dynamic Business Systems Analyst to drive innovation and efficiency in our Information Systems and Business Process Design. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives to support our corporate objectives and departmental operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in Information Systems, Business Process Design, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Analyze existing and proposed systems, devising strategies for implementation, integration, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Manage early "Initiation" activities for system solutions to meet the evolving needs of various business areas.
  • Ensure clear documentation and communication of system analysis designs and process maps to business executives and senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with global business areas to define business-centric MIS requirements and evaluate system solution options.
  • Analyze business and systems needs, translating them into functional and technical requirements for proposed solutions.
  • Work with project teams to execute business systems project plans and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify key suppliers, strategic alliances, and process improvements in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Support business process owners in understanding tactical and strategic plans to enhance business processes and operations.
  • Address MIS-related user satisfaction issues within assigned business processes, leading their resolution within MIS.
  • Provide assistance in system configuration, monitoring, and interface updates for production support.
  • Coach team members to develop stronger functional and technical skills aligned with supported applications.
  • Stay abreast of new business processes and technologies, integrating them into our strategies and methodologies.

Qualifications: Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience in Information Services or Process Technology.
  • Four (4) years of Project Management experience on medium to large system implementations.
  • Working knowledge of SOX 404, HAL, Hyperion Enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of requirements development, analysis, and operations management.

Preferred:

  • Four (4) years of experience managing IT projects.

Criteria/Conditions:

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability to potentially stressful environments.
  • Office location in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
  • Occasional work may be performed in outdoor or manufacturing settings.
  • Must be physically capable of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Personal protective equipment required for work in certain environments.
