Large, rapidly growing biotech organization is seeking a temporary QC Technical Resources Data Analyst to join their team! This is a great opportunity to join an exciting, and robust company in the Albany area.
The QC Technical Resources Data Analyst will complete method performance analysis, develop and maintain project management tools, create metrics, and track/report assay validation activities.

- Duration: One-year contract with strong potential for extension or permanent hire
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Location: Rensselaer, NY
- Pay: $21.00-26.00/hr. (DOE)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain tools for the tabulation, tracking, compilation, and graphical display of QC data, sample inventory, routine tasks, and project status/timelines
- Ensure a reliable and automated flow of data while developing tools for data analytics and visualization
- Develop and maintain complex data visualization dashboards and their underlying datasets, backed by shared files or a database
- May need to develop new automated solutions to reduce unnecessary or repetitive work
- Ensures compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies
- May need to develop, configure, or maintain inventory tracking a Laboratory Inventory Management System, and Electronic Lab Notebook builds and templates
- Write and manage Change Controls in the client change management system
- Participates in required training activities
Education and Experience: Requires BS/BA in a Computer Science/Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
