Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000/yr.

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the aerospace manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules while facilitating cross-departmental collaboration with all departments such as engineering, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, customers, engineering, customers, and suppliers. 
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed production schedules and plans to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and purchasing to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure accurate and feasible project timelines.
  • Customer Focus: Be assigned to 1-3 customers and serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries for specific assigned customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any concerns or changes in project requirements promptly.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues impacting production schedules.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in production planning.
  • Implement best practices to optimize workflow and meet customer and company objectives.
  • Machine Shop Experience: Leverage prior experience in a machine shop environment within aerospace to enhance scheduling accuracy.
  • Ensure alignment between production schedules and machine shop capabilities.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in aerospace manufacturing, required.
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced environments and being a liaison between all departments such as managing suppliers, customers, manufacturing, engineering and being the voice of our customers.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production schedules.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
