Are you a proactive problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments? Do you have a passion for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment? If so, we want you to join our team as a Field Service Technician.
As a key member of our service department, you'll be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of construction and crushing/screening equipment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose construction and crushing/screening equipment for needed repairs.
Perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned machines as directed, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
Utilize diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments to detect faults in machine systems such as electronics, hydraulics, power trains, and engines.
Occasionally operate machines to assess repair needs or performance issues.
Disassemble and assemble machines and components according to manufacturer specifications, utilizing hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized equipment provided by the company.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to efficiently perform required maintenance and service tasks.
Research repair needs and order parts as necessary to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical or vocational education is a plus.
Three to five years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing heavy equipment.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
Basic welding skills and familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in heavy equipment maintenance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organization.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, good work habits, and self-motivation to perform at the highest level.
