As a Field Service Technician, you are the frontline representative of our company, delivering technical expertise and support directly to our clients' locations. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, installing and configuring systems, and providing exceptional customer service. A key aspect of this role is the ability to troubleshoot issues, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure that our products or services meet or exceed expectations. You'll be working independently or as part of a team, often on-site, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Manage equipment yard and ensure the safe and efficient storage, organization, and maintenance of all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the yard equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders to move and position equipment within the yard.
- Arrange equipment in designated storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to the service manager.
- Coordinate with service manager to track equipment movement, deliveries, and pickups.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment for rental or sale by cleaning and performing basic maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling heavy equipment.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and basic repair tasks, preferred.
