Senior RF Technician

We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing, yet well-established, manufacturer of RF power amplifiers as they seek to hire a well-experienced Senior RF Technician. Candidate should possess solid experience in testing and troubleshooting RF power amplifiers with a power range of 1MHz - 1GHz.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and / or testing of RF power amplifiers following standard methods and procedures and adhering to established specifications, using standard laboratory equipment.
• Works under the limited supervision of the senior test department staff. Reports to the Director of Operations.
• Should have the ability to perform complex tests of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies to determine ifthe assemblies meet specifications.
• Perform tests and able to troubleshoot equipment by setting up and using standard laboratory equipment.
• Have the ability to work from schematics, specifications, sketches or other authorized information to determine performance requirements of equipment being tested.
• Able to repair, adjust and calibrate equipment to bring it within requirements.
• Will need to maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2 years of technical or military schooling or equivalent is preferred.
5 years of related experience required in the testing and troubleshooting of high-power RF amplifiers

Salary: 50,000-70,000/Year
