Job Title: Day Transportation Coordinator
Position Summary
The Day Transportation Coordinator supports transportation and logistics operations by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. Under general supervision, this role completes standard but diversified office duties requiring working knowledge of warehouse operations, company policies, and procedures. The coordinator works primarily in the receiving office and serves as a point of support for daily transportation and order flow activities.
Key Responsibilities

Assist transportation and warehouse clerks with receiving inbound orders and checking drivers in and out

Support preparation of outbound orders through the will-call process

Perform clerical duties including filing, sorting, and organizing paperwork related to transportation and warehouse activities

Enter and maintain accurate data in internal systems

Respond to general inquiries related to transportation and logistics operations in accordance with established policies

Provide administrative support to management and logistics teams as needed
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills (Must Have)

Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems

Ability to accurately enter and manage data
Technical Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience

1–5 years of related clerical, transportation, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred

Prior warehouse or distribution experience is a plus, but not required
Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred

No certifications required
