Maintenance Technician — Manufacturing / Industrial Equipment
Location: Tulsa, OK

Primary Shift: Friday – Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Training Schedule: Monday – Thursday (same hours) for the first 2 months, then transition to the weekend schedule

Summary:
This is a hands-on, plant-based maintenance role supporting high-performance industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooter who thrives on preventing downtime and solving complex equipment issues. This position plays a key role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and system checks to reduce downtime

  • Troubleshooting: Solve equipment and system failures in real-time during production

  • Fabrication & Repair: Utilize shop tools and machinery to modify or fabricate parts as needed

  • Work Order Management: Accurately document repairs, PMs, and service notes in the system

  • Parts & Inventory Support: Assist with identifying, ordering, and managing critical spare parts

  • Facility Support: Perform general building maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and painting

  • Safety & Compliance: Follow PPE requirements and contribute to site-wide safety improvements

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with production, engineering, and leadership to resolve issues quickly


Experience & Skills

  • Maintenance Background: 4 years in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment

  • Electrical Experience: Hands-on work with high voltage systems (up to 480V)

  • Mechanical Systems: Strong ability with pumps, compressors, pipe systems, and industrial machinery

  • Blueprint Reading: Comfortable interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals

  • PM Programs: Familiar with structured preventive maintenance schedules

  • CNC Familiarity: Experience is a strong plus

  • Certifications: Forklift and crane operation experience preferred (training provided if needed)


Work Environment

  • Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility

  • Exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles

  • PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, respirators as needed)


Physical Requirements

  • Extended standing, walking, climbing, bending, and stooping

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must have strong visual awareness and depth perception for safe equipment operation
