Overview
This is a high-impact, highly visible role for a seasoned technical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, leading initiatives, and shaping technology strategy. As the Techno Functional Analyst Lead, you serve as both a hands-on technical expert and a trusted partner to business leaders. You will drive solution development, optimize system performance, lead enhancements, and ensure high-quality support throughout the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a blended technical/functional position, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to influence technology roadmap decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to define resource needs, forecast workloads, and support cost-reduction strategies.
Maintain robust documentation, develop training materials, and support ongoing associate development.
Analyze application and system usage to plan for growth, scalability, and increased server and desktop capacity.
Ensure excellence in technical support, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Lead major enhancement projects, including functional design, development oversight, and unit testing.
Write and maintain code using RPG 4, React, and Python within an IBM iSeries environment.
Mentor junior and mid-level associates on systems, tools, processes, and best practices.
Provide Level 2 production support and troubleshoot complex issues.
Flex to support different shifts or weekend work when operational needs arise.
Step in for management as needed, including leading meetings, preparing presentations, and serving as an escalation point.
Assist with budgeting, hardware planning, and monitoring departmental spend.
Participate in interviewing and selecting new team members.
Lead delegated audit activities, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and presented effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capability.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications and general technical tools.
Preferred:
5 years supporting supply chain applications.
Experience leading IT projects with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with the automotive sector.
Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment and manage competing priorities.
Demonstrated accountability and a strong sense of ownership.
Proven ability to build positive, respectful working relationships.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based work with periodic exposure to warehouse or production settings.
Collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant interaction across departments.
