Position Summary:
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is to oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs at the Gray Court facility. The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments, demonstrating strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and a hands-on approach to building a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses to ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage environmental compliance, including waste management, air emissions, stormwater, and chemical storage requirements.
- Facilitate employee safety training for all levels of the organization, from onboarding to leadership safety development.
- Partner with plant leadership to drive a safety-first culture and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and compliance audits, ensuring documentation and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, driving accountability and transparency across all departments.
- Champion sustainability efforts and promote environmentally responsible operations.
Payrate:
$120,000/ year
