CNC Operator
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Set up and operate CNC machinery for cutting, shaping, and edging glass and glazing materials.
- Load and unload materials into CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing them in place.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to program CNC machines accordingly.
- Perform routine machine calibration and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Adjust CNC machines as needed to correct deviations from quality standards.
- Manage raw materials and finished products, including organizing and maintaining an inventory of glass and glazing materials.
- Collaborate with the materials procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of materials for production.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to machine operation, safety, and quality control.
- Work closely with other members of the production team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and production output.
- Complete production reports and documentation as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective production methods.
