Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist
Location: Henrietta, NY
Shift & Pay:
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Summary: Nesco Resource is hiring an Administrative Support Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity! As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for processing orders, handling customer inquiries via email, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all sales contacts via phone/email, including orders, quotations, expediting, and inquiries
- Provide direct support between customers and the production team
- Collaborate with account managers, logistics, and quality teams to address production needs
- Work with production planning and procurement teams for expediting orders
- Use company formulas to quote pricing to customers
- Navigate the ERP system for order processing, product quotes, part loading, and more
- Review and coordinate the implementation of changes and updates to sales orders
- Investigate and respond to customer questions regarding short shipments, damaged goods, or discrepancies
- Update and maintain customer information portals
- Print forms and assemble sales order packets
- Ensure compliance with company sales & marketing and export/import policies
- Generate sales analysis reports and other customer-related reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills via email (no phone calls)
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents
- Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle standardized problems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet software
- High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of related experience or training
- Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of emails
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
