Additional information on project/responsibilities:

The resource will conduct site surveys of recent acquisitions or soon-to-be-acquired facilities across various markets in the US and determine/participate in merging the existing technologies into the a single client system.

It is imperative that this person is a senior Fortinet resource with extensive experience across the Fortinet stack. This person needs to have leadership qualities and can demonstrate team lead experience working with the Mergers & Acquisitions teams at the client to set go forward refresh strategy in preparation for cutovers

The client will not consider any candidate that he would consider a "job hopper.” He would like to see candidates that have spent at least 3 years with their current and former employers.

Requirements:
Must have experience in the following areas (the Fortinet experience is a MUST):
• Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex LAN and WAN service disruptions across Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet environments.
• Platform Configuration: Configure and manage a diverse range of switching platforms, including Cisco 3750x, 9200, and 9300 series, Cisco Nexus, and FortiSwitch.
• Routing Expertise: Configure and maintain routing platforms such as Cisco ASR and ISR, FortiGate, and Meraki devices.
• Hardware Deployment: Install and commission new network hardware components.
• WAN Circuit Management: Facilitate the activation and integration of leased WAN circuits.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in daily team briefings and contribute to various project meetings.
• Documentation Excellence: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Change Management: Develop and meticulously review network change scripts prior to implementation.
• Security Collaboration: Partner with the security team to identify and mitigate active network threats.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within Information Systems, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the healthcare industry.
• Hands-on Networking: At least 3 years of practical, hands-on experience managing and implementing Cisco networking projects.
• SD-WAN Proficiency: A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with SD-WAN technologies.
• LAN Infrastructure Expertise: Proven ability to troubleshoot and configure LAN infrastructures, including STP, EtherChannel/Port Channel, 802.1Q Trunking, VTP, 802.1x, DHCP, and DACLs.
• WAN Infrastructure Expertise: Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting WAN infrastructures, including VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs, and leased circuits.
• AAA/TACACS Experience: Proficient in troubleshooting AAA and TACACS authentication systems.
• IP Addressing: Experience in designing and implementing effective IP addressing schemes.
• Wireless Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve 802.11 wireless network issues.
• General Network Troubleshooting: Strong experience in diagnosing and resolving a wide range of client and network connectivity issues.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience configuring and utilizing SNMP monitoring and logging systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and takes responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Communication Prowess: Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Visio and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Customer Focus: Exhibits excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing effective support.
• Proactive Approach: Displays a positive "can-do" attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges.
• Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 20% within US annually for deployment activities.
Education:
• Required: Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training.
• Certification: Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is mandatory. Fortinet Certifications strongly preferred.
