As a Business Analyst you will serve as the bridge between business users and Application teams and Data Engineering teams. Translating analytical and reporting needs into clear documentation for development and QA teams. The ideal candidate will help intake, prioritize, and drive requirements for multiple sprint-based delivery tracks, including those focused on financial reporting, CRM enhancements, and enterprise dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate regularly with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize enhancement requests and reporting needs.
- Draft and maintain business requirement documentation, process flows, and functional artifacts for development teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for dashboards and operational reports.
- Enter and maintain user stories, define acceptance criteria, and participate in backlog grooming sessions.
- Serve as a liaison between business, development, and QA to ensure accurate delivery of solutions.
- Communicate rollout plans and feature releases to internal stakeholders and user groups.
- Provide ongoing support to end users, including assistance with reports, dashboards, and issue troubleshooting.
- Review and optimize data support processes and collaborate with data quality teams on continuous improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of standardized reporting solutions.
- 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar data-facing role.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a strong advantage.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing structured data (3 years).
- Proven ability to convert business objectives into clear, actionable technical documentation.
- Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
- Familiarity with dashboard tools like Power BI, Tableau, or IBM Cognos.
- Exposure to the insurance or regulated industries is a plus.
- Understanding of SOX compliance or internal audit environments is beneficial.
- Advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, Power Query).
- Bonus: Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or MS Fabric is highly valued.
