Nesco Resource is partnered with their client to identify a CNC Machnist for an immediate opportunity for a qualifited CNC Machinist who is lookinf for a full time direct hire opportunity.
Job Description
Our client seeks candidates who are reliable, with a willingness to learn, improve and quickly grow into an Engineering role on 2nd shift.. Being a team player is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. This role will ensure that procedures are carried out smoothly, to maximize efficiency and profits
.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and run multi axis machines
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed and feeds)
- Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Meet job requirements with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- 5 years on CNC Lathes
- Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Understanding of machining procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Strong Mathematical Skills
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
Preferred, but not required skills:
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience with live tooling machines
- Programming experience on cad system
