Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Forklift Operator to work at our Macedonia plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials within the facility and loading/unloading shipments.
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour BOE
Shift: 1st and 2nd
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials around the plant and warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and properly labeled.
- Conduct daily safety checks on equipment before use.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to plant regulations.
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements:
- Forklift certification with proven experience in a plant or warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor and lifting.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or a similar environment preferred.
