About the Role:
As a Commercial Operations Supervisor, you'll be a key player and coach, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive solutions for a wide range of actuation and automation services. You'll manage quoting activities, support our clients sales channels, and guide your team in delivering technically sound proposals that drive results. You'll also play a critical role in ensuring seamless order execution and fostering strong collaboration with operations, sales, and engineering teams.
What You'll Do:
- Lead by example, handling key RFQs and delivering competitive quotes for customers and partners.
- Ensure fast and efficient response times for quotations while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Oversee order reviews, ensuring proper documentation and smooth transitions to order management.
- Navigate commercial terms, contracts, and SAP processes, resolving challenges with expertise.
- Develop and implement continuous training programs to elevate team technical and commercial proficiency.
- Equip your team with the tools and best practices for selecting, configuring, and quoting solutions.
- Build strong relationships across departments to drive success and foster a collaborative environment.
- Monitor and analyze pricing strategies, quotation hit rates, and team performance to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Mentor team members, set measurable goals, and support their professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 10 years in related roles.
- Proven success in sales (inside and outside), particularly in process control markets.
- Deep knowledge of valves, actuators, controls, and related technologies.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen, with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning new tools and software.
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with valve service and repair across various brands and types.
