1st shift Machine Operator (CNC experience a PLUS!)

Description:
Machine Operator is responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve and maintain world class quality. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy.

CNC Machine Experience a plus!

Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities and Skills:

Use of microscope and or similar devices to aid close-up work

Machine work to shape instruments including buffing, grinding, and drilling

Use of measurement instruments including micrometers and calipers

Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance

Operate the machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

Operate/monitor multiple pieces of cannulas during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

Quality-driven and keen sense to detail

Required Skills:

• Previous machine operation experience
• Good math skills
• Experience with using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Able to stand, lift, bend for 8-10 hours per day
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift
• HS Diploma or GED
