Job Summary
The Credit Manager will oversee the daily functions of the Credit Department, ensuring accurate customer payment applications and managing adjustments to customer credit terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Evaluation: Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Customer Assessment: Review and assess the credit history of current and prospective customers.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and suggest measures to mitigate them.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on credit analysis and present findings to management.
- Credit Limits: Recommend credit limits based on analysis and company policy.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial ratio analysis and other quantitative assessments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit analysis activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Analytics preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with JD Edwards and Salesforce software.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
