Inventory Control Specialist

6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 7:00am to 3:30 pm
Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team! This person will help manage inventory in the stockroom and support smooth operations across shipping, receiving, and production. If you're organized, good with numbers, and have experience working with inventory systems, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:

Keep inventory operations running smoothly in the warehouse or stockroom

Receive incoming stock, check for accuracy or damage, and report any issues

Count and log inventory using SAP system

Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate

Pull and prepare materials for production, customer orders, engineering, and more

Receive and distribute shipments within the company

Process shipments, update tracking info, and handle international shipping paperwork

Manage customer and carrier shipping portals, including advance ship notices

Communicate with teams like production, engineering, and sales to ensure accuracy and timing
What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse work preferred

Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or similar inventory software is a plus

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication skills and ability to work with different departments
