Production & Inventory Coordinator
Location: Darien Plant
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary:
The Production & Inventory Coordinator will oversee inventory management, production reporting, and shop floor workflow to support efficient operations at the Darien facility. This role involves maintaining accuracy in SAP and Excel systems, coordinating shipments, and supporting various clerical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate production and inventory data in SAP and Excel

  • Reconcile and confirm inventory transactions, perform adjustments, and lead annual physical inventory

  • Analyze inventory reports to identify and resolve discrepancies

  • Ensure timely month-end facility closure in SAP

  • Perform SAP transactions including inventory adjustments, material confirmations, and issue resolution

  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOL, pack lists, export paperwork, SOLAS/VGM, etc.)

  • Schedule outbound shipments and communicate with customer service and logistics teams

  • Monitor and maintain packaging materials, pallets, and supplies inventory

  • Print and organize SAP order documents and prepare work orders

  • Assist in locating and confirming inventory for production use

  • Receive inbound goods, print or reprint necessary labels, and update SAP accordingly

  • Manage nonstandard sample requests

  • Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, handling mail, and paying facility bills

  • Support front desk operations including visitor access control

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Excel

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Flexible and able to manage a wide range of responsibilities
