Job Title: CNC Operator / Machinist
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary: Join a well-established manufacturing team as a CNC Operator/Machinist and play a critical role in producing precision parts that meet exact specifications. In this hands-on role, you'll operate CNC machines, perform quality inspections, assist with setups, and contribute to the team's commitment to safety, accuracy, and on-time production.

Shift:
- 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay:
- $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, Based on Experience
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery according to production and quality standards.
- Assist in machine setups, tool changes, and in-process checks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions to produce accurate parts.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using standard measuring tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Report any quality issues, equipment concerns, or production delays to management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving skills.
