Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Bedford, OH
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed)
Pay: $20–$23/hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips or purchase orders.

Shipping: Prepare, label, and package outgoing materials according to carrier and customer requirements.

Inventory Control: Accurately log inventory transactions and ensure proper storage of received goods.

Documentation: Maintain shipping and receiving records; update internal systems and complete required paperwork.

Coordination: Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal contacts to ensure accurate and timely delivery or dispatch.

Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move products.

Issue Resolution: Identify and report any discrepancies, damage, or delivery delays promptly.

Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety procedures and operate equipment properly.
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Familiarity with shipping systems (FedEx, UPS) and ERP/WMS software

Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices

Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

High school diploma or GED

Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
