PREREQUISITES
Safety training including training in the importance of machine guarding and safety equipment.
Knowledge of the lock out/tag out procedure.
Knowledge and application of plant and environmental safety concepts.
Proper lifting techniques.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviews daily receiving schedule.
2. Responsible for completing the receiving process for raw material.
3. Understands our inventory system how to place raw material into the proper warehouse location to facilitate FIFO.
4. Records any damaged material that is received.
5. Responsible for weighing all product after each operation and updating the label.
6. Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized and free of debris.
7. Performs daily safety checks of material handling equipment.
8. Responsible for other activities as requested by the Supervision.
9. Operates material handling equipment in a safe manner. 1
0. Is trained with and becomes familiar with IS09001/IATF16949 procedures relative to material handling, including; SBP-03 Manufacturing Process .
11. Properly weighs and processes scrap daily.
12. Operates lift truck and possesses a lift truck license.
