Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a skilled fabrication team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for new construction or repair work. You'll contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment while often working independently, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. If you have experience with MIG/TIG welding, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication, we encourage you to apply!

Shift:

  • 6am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

Pay:

  • $24 - $29 Per hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Use hand tools and fabrication equipment to assemble and repair components.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks before moving to the next routing step.
  • Follow established safety standards and enforce departmental safety policies.
  • Cross-train in other work centers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Work overtime as required to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in welding and fabrication preferred.
  • Proficient in TIG/MIG welding processes.
  • Familiarity with stainless steel and aluminum materials is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
  • Skilled with fabrication tools and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
