Building Maintenance Specialist
Overview:
This role supports day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, shipping/receiving, mail distribution, conference room setup, and internal office moves. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and service-oriented, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond to service requests related to repair, maintenance, and deliveries

Coordinate services with staff, facilities teams, and outside vendors

Perform routine maintenance on building equipment and modular office furniture

Clean and maintain carpets and meeting rooms
-
Manage conference room setup, calendar scheduling, and AV equipment support
-
Provide courier services and deliveries between buildings using a state vehicle
-
Track key issuance and maintain building floor plans using software tools
-
Handle incoming/outgoing mail and shipping using FedEx, UPS, USPS, and related systems

Support warehouse functions and maintain inventory databases

Conduct routine building and safety inspections

Work independently and as part of a team

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Travel locally between buildings as needed
