Job Title: Injection Molding Machine Operator – Ceramic Core Manufacturing

Location: Wilkloughby area
We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
Compensation: starting at $16.00 hourly

What You'll Do:

  • Operate high and low-pressure injection molding machines to create ceramic components that meet strict quality standards.

  • Follow detailed job instructions and standard operating procedures using our production system interface.

  • Prepare dies, maintain proper mix levels in hoppers, and manage the full injection process — from start to finish.

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections and use precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

  • Perform basic finishing tasks such as removing die lines and loading parts into saggers per procedural guidelines.

  • Use handheld scanners to enter data and track production progress in real time.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and production records.

  • Collaborate closely with quality inspectors, supervisors, and team members to meet production targets.

  • Keep your workstation clean, safe, and organized in line with TPM and 6S principles.

  • Ensure full compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.

  • Effective verbal communication and team collaboration skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand for the full 8-hour shift (and overtime, as needed).

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.

  • Requires close visual inspection and fine motor skills to detect defects and handle small parts.

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Tools & Equipment Used:

  • Injection presses (high and low pressure)

  • Precision measuring tools

  • Computer systems & handheld scanners

  • Magnifying loupe for detailed inspection
