Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Batavia, NY
Summary:
We are seeking a Second Shift Machine Operator to support our high-speed manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmers, and conveyor systems while ensuring quality standards, safety protocols, and efficiency are upheld. The Machine Operator will also perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance and will follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Shift:
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay:
• $20.50/hour base pay
• $0.50/hour shift differential
• Total: $21.00/hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor process problems and perform basic machine adjustments.
• Perform quality checks and inspections, including drop tests and label verification.
• Accurately complete production paperwork, including regrinds and maintenance logs.
• Monitor packaging materials and replenish as needed.
• Pick up and recycle dropped bottles or excess product.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Adhere to all company safety and manufacturing policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical component changes.
• Communicate bottle defects or abnormalities to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior blow mold or injection molding experience preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Completion of machine operator training program within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud, and hot/cold production environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
