Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team and ensure all finished goods meet customer and regulatory standards. In this role, you'll perform audits, inspections, testing, and measurements to uphold product quality while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Shift:
7am - 3:30pm Monday – Friday
Pay:
$19.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform process inspections during molding, packaging, and loading to ensure quality standards are met.
Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and dimensional checks on products.
Monitor plant performance using statistical tools and techniques.
Audit control plan requirements including process parameters and GMP compliance.
Document findings and communicate out-of-spec conditions or quality issues to appropriate personnel.
Perform inventory and cycle counts of finished goods as required.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process improvements.
Support calibration and metrology efforts.
Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least one year of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
ASQ certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and influencing skills.
Knowledge of basic statistics and metrology.
Understanding of quality systems and documentation requirements in manufacturing.
Proficient in computer use and data entry.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
