Job Overview
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility electro/mechanical equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Schedule
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Friday.
A Day In The Life
- Oversee all maintenance items.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Conduct routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments, electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.
- Perform fabrication to include machining and general design and fit.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance services.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
- A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing and facility maintenance experience required.
- High level of troubleshooting skills required.
- Knowledge of industrial electric up to 600 volts.
- Ability to read & understand schematics.
- Knowledge of DC and AC Drives.
- Automation & PLC experience necessary.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and related low voltage controls.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and machinery installation.
- Must possess excellent mechanical skills.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed and to be on-call as directed.
- Must possess knowledge of and efficiently utilize MS Office and other facility-related software.
- Must be able to work independently as well as with others.
- Must be able to give clear instructions.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate and direct the work of outside vendors.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit or stand for periods of time.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and work in tight areas.
