Nesco Resource is looking to fill a compounder position for in Rocky River. This is a 3rd shift position (9pm-7:30am, Monday throough Thursday) and the pay is $16 or $17/hour based on experience.

General Description:
- Compounders accurately charge raw materials in blending units, blend material and transfer these blended batches to packaging systems. Blended batches can be transferred utilizing our pneumatic convey system or manually using bulk bags.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely manufacture of blended goods at Dependable
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Provide guidance, feedback, to technicians and other staff members
- Responsible for a well-maintained specialty chemical area
- Employee must be able to wear provided PPE
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Responsible for a well-maintained batch blending area
- Responsible for transfer of completed batches to blending units
- Ability to read and or interpret work orders
- Enforce good manufacturing practices (GMP) as well as standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Continued training by attending monthly safety meeting focused on topics related to our operation
- Perform other duties as required by management
- Other duties as assigned by management
Educational Requirements:
- Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
- Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
- Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
- May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 40 degrees.
- Ability to work with others in a productive and efficient manner.
- May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
- May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
- Work surfaces may include concrete.
- Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required.
- Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
- Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required
- Ability to be punctual for scheduled work shifts
