Core Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technology support, offering in-person assistance to employee end-users.
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Support end-users on a variety of issues, identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot a range of user problems, including PC hardware/software, LAN, and voice network.
  • Diagnose problem sources through discussions with users and coordinate with internal IT organization support, operations groups, and/or vendors to resolve issues.
  • Acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software, and plan for/respond to service outages and other problems.
  • Train users on the use of new technology and software.
  • Perform proactive monitoring of Client's computer systems through appropriate tools.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Participate in various IT projects, working with internal and external teams.
  • Support a small site(s) within the country, overseeing up to 200 IT end-users.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interaction and interpersonal skills, specifically listening and providing guidance.
  • Strong analytical abilities to quickly resolve technical problems, evaluate alternative approaches, and recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.
  • Ability to follow company standards and apply policies consistently.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to document operations procedures.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts and holidays.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A valid driving license (B).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience

  • Experience working in a similar IT support role.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of IT systems and technologies.
  • Experience in training users and creating user documentation.
