EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) or more year's computer operations, Data Processing, Networking with
Supervisory experience preferred. Experience managing in the Information Technology field. Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for staffing the IT Department including scheduling, training and evaluations.
- Manages the daily workflow for the IT Department.
- Supervise all "Help Desk” service tickets and track all instances written on "Service Desk” database. Provide traceability reporting to Senior Management.
- Manage all network backups according to designated schedule.
- Designs and maintains network topology including VLANs, routing, and firewalls
- Performs system administration as needed (e.g. DHCP, DNS, user
- Responds to network and computer problems in a timely manner.
- Manage server and workstation operation and troubleshooting.
- Provide user support as necessary.
- Conducts interviews with employee candidates.
- Trains and develops staff.
- Recommend, document and issue discipline.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Prepares system documentations.
- Drafts policies and procedures.
- Manages budgets, contacts and revenue goals to ensure financial performance aligns with business objectives.
- Manages operation and maintenance of telecommunication systems.
- Maintains disaster recovery plan.
- Maintains knowledge of current information relevant to information security issues and develops prevention plans.
Other:
- Able to lift and carry 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to walk all areas of facility.
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.
Preferred qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Ciscso Certified Network Administrator (CSNA)
- VMware certified
