Job Title: Benefits Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Benefits Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional support to clients, their employees, and internal partners by managing the setup, processing, maintenance, and resolution of client benefit accounts. This role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and supports retention through excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide customer service support via phone, email, and fax to clients, employees, and field partners.

Handle setup, ongoing processing, and maintenance of client benefit accounts.

Contact clients and employees through outbound email/call campaigns as necessary.

Process benefit enrollments for PEO product offerings in a timely and accurate manner.

Research and resolve product and service issues; document all interactions in CRM.

Address and correct monthly audits and billing discrepancies.

Guide clients and employees on product offerings and the use of Health & Benefits online tools.

Maintain accurate and compliant benefit documentation, including Section 125 Plan documents.

Stay up to date on changes related to product offerings, policy updates, and regulatory compliance.

Research and correct errors identified in audit reports and carrier discrepancy files.

Interact with Health & Benefits carriers to resolve customer issues.

Participate in special projects and attend training sessions as required.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Experience in benefits administration, HRIS systems, or payroll preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and general office software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
