Job Overview:
Our Partner is hiring Machine Operators to support high-quality plastic manufacturing operations in Rochester, NY. This full-time temp-to-perm role requires candidates to complete a Certified Operator training course. Operators are responsible for machine production, quality checks, packaging, and communicating issues to leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

A Shift: $16.50/hr (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) M-F

B Shift: $17.50/hr (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) M-F

C Shift: $17.80/hr (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Sunday -Thursday
Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities:

Review Operator Instructions, Packaging Instructions, and Quality Inspection Procedures daily

Sign Daily Training Log after reviewing documentation

Set up and maintain an organized operator workstation at press

Perform visual inspection of initial shots before packaging
-
Package products to avoid contamination or damage

Accurately count and report scrap and production
-
Maintain machine cycle speed and press cleanliness during shift
-
Communicate quality issues, low yield, or production concerns to Leads or QA
-
Clean and organize the production area at shift end
-
Relieve other operators for breaks and lunches as needed
-
Follow all safety policies and special equipment procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor or management
Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand written work instructions

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, and repetitive hand motion for long periods

Frequent lifting, reaching, and bending at workstation
