  • Act as the local hands/eyes for the remote facilities and IT engineering team

  • Execute rack-and-stack, cable management, and equipment deployment aligned with site standards

  • Monitor and validate environmental controls and system stability (temperature, humidity, airflow)

  • Verify proper labeling, cable routing, hardware mounting, and airflow management

  • Assist with incident response and escalation procedures related to physical infrastructure and environmental issues

  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and inventories for power, cooling, and equipment deployments

  • Support compliance efforts (ISO, SOC, NIST) through routine checks and documentation updates

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience supporting mission-critical environments (data centers, colocation sites, or NOC environments)

  • Hands-on experience with rack and stack, structured cabling, and infrastructure diagnostics

  • Familiarity with critical systems such as UPS, HVAC, PDUs, generators, and BMS/DCIM platforms

  • Competence with Windows/Linux systems from a monitoring/support standpoint

  • Ability to follow MOPs/SOPs, interpret facility diagrams and floor plans

  • Strong written/verbal communication and ability to act independently while on-site

  • Physically able to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience with OEM hardware: Dell, Cisco, HPE, Juniper

  • Knowledge of DCIM platforms (e.g., Schneider EcoStruxure, Nlyte, Sunbird)

  • Certifications: CompTIA Server , Network , Electrical or HVAC Technician certs, OSHA 10/30, BICSI

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and facility management tools

Schedule & Dispatch Details:

  • Minimum of 8 hours per week, on a recurring set schedule

  • Hours may flex up to 16–24 hours/week depending on demand and site conditions

  • All visits are pre-scheduled and coordinated with remote facilities/engineering teams
