Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
*THIS IS A FIRST SHIFT POSITION- START TIME CAN RANGE BETWEEN 6:00AM-8:00AM*
· Lead by example in following company GMPs, policies and procedures.
· Ability to perform all Blend functions (All fill, tumbler, blenders and forklift) and to fill in when needed or to assist blending personnel.
· Train new operators regarding SOPs, HACCP, equipment operations, sanitation and safety procedures.
· Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to the blending team to ensure adherence to blending recipes and procedures.
· Monitor and evaluate the KPIs established for the Blend team coupled with clear and timely communication of the resulting trends and performance to goals. Identify process improvements to reach and maintain positive KPI's.
· Facilitate inventory movements within the blend area to maximize storage abilities and workflow processes.
· Identify and resolve issues that may result in production downtime.
· Accurately complete all required production paperwork, batch records, quality checks and maintenance logs. Ensuring all documentation is legible and in accordance with company procedures.
· Act as the primary point of contact to communicate issues and needs with Supervisors, Leads, Managers, Sales, Customer Service and operational employees.
· Assist Quality Assurance in all needs to comply with government regulations and to maintain SQF certification.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processing times, accuracy, and overall performance.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to motivate, teach, train and develop others.
· Sound math, written and communication skills.
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, (Excel, Word and Power Point).
· Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and food manufacturing.
· SAP experience preferred but not required.
