We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team on 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday). About the Role:
As a Parts Inventory Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of parts and components used in service, repair, or production. You’ll work closely with technicians, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure parts are received, stored, and distributed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts deliveries for accuracy and quality
Maintain accurate inventory records using software systems
Issue parts to technicians or departments based on work orders or requisitions
Perform regular and cycle inventory counts; reconcile any discrepancies
Organize and label storage areas for easy access and loss prevention
Monitor stock levels and submit reorder requests as needed
Communicate with suppliers about returns, shortages, or incorrect shipments
Prepare parts kits for scheduled service or maintenance jobs
Ensure proper handling and storage of all parts, including hazardous materials
Keep the parts room clean, safe, and organized
Generate basic inventory and usage reports as needed
What We're Looking For:
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Computer literate; proficient with Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail, math skills, and communication abilities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move for 8 hours per shift
Willingness to occasionally get dirty and handling chemicals
Experience using hand tools and other measuring instruments (must provide your own)
Prior experience in inventory, warehousing, or a similar role is preferred
