Primary Responsibilities
- Work to create new designs and/or modify existing designs with a focus upon improved manufacturability, increased product performance, and higher overall product quality
- Works as a Subject Matter Expert for their SolidWorks programs; helping train new drafters and designers
- Work with various engineering groups as well as sales and project management to provide relevant documents and design to internal and external stakeholders
- Use Solidworks to create accurate, complete and concise engineering documentation
- Coordinate design changes with external and internal shareholders
- Document design specifications for continuation once project is initiated
- Special projects as they arise
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Associates Degree will be considered with appropriate experience
- 3 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role focused on design
- Intermediate to Advanced SolidWorks expertise
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
