Job Title: Inventory & Shipping Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory & Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations (addition and subtraction), and experience with inventory tracking and shipment counting. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory and the timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:

Use computer systems to enter, track, and update inventory records

Perform basic addition and subtraction to verify inventory quantities and shipping totals

Count and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies

Organize and maintain stock areas, ensuring proper labeling and inventory control

Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately counting items and verifying against packing lists or invoices

Assist with periodic physical inventory and cycle counts

Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions and shipments

Communicate with warehouse staff and supervisors regarding any inventory or shipment issues
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficient in basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to accurately add and subtract quantities

Experience in a warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving environment preferred

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
