Job Summary:

Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Auburn Hills team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials in the warehouse or production facility. This role supports inventory control, order fulfillment, and efficient flow of materials throughout the organization.

Pay Rate: 17.50

Shift: 1st

7:00AM - 3:10PM, Monday – Friday with weekend overtime.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand

  • Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders

  • Prepare and stage materials for production or shipment according to job orders

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to company procedures

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and documentation for shipments

  • Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily goals

  • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling role

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic math and computer skills (e.g., inventory systems, barcode scanners)

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
