Job Description:
Location: Stamford, CT (with travel to NYC as needed)
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Support Resource to provide supplemental IT HelpDesk and Network Technician support across our NYC and Stamford, CT, offices. This role will primarily support YES Network and is an extension of the Sinclair Broadcasting IT HelpDesk team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, exceptional people skills, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide onsite IT HelpDesk support at the following locations:
250 Harbor Drive, Stamford, CT 06902
200 Park Avenue, Floor 12, Suite B, New York, NY, 10166
Live event venues (e.g., Yankee Stadium, Brokerage Firm Center, etc.)

•Travel to the NYC office as needed, primarily on Wednesdays for senior staff meetings.
•Act as a concierge for users, assisting with troubleshooting tickets, software, and services.
•Help with the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including phones, printers, emails, networking, and broadcast equipment.
•Support Sinclair, YES Networks, and other related entities, ensuring a smooth transition from Sinclair to YES Networks.
•Conduct password resets and provide general desktop, laptop, server, and network support with a strong emphasis on customer service.
•Assist with network/server/virtualization/storage/wireless issues and serve as the go-to resource for all IT environments.
•Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft, Dell, and Mac environments, including Microsoft Teams telephony and iPhone support.
•Collaborate with the team to manage and document network configurations, including cable management and printer migrations.
•Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and issue tracking, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
•Participate in various projects, including email migration, proprietary application support, and network upgrades.
•Support events and provide technical assistance as needed.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in IT HelpDesk support and executive support roles.
• Familiarity with Zoom conference rooms and Teams telephony is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse user base.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various technical issues and support requirements.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, desktop/laptop support, and server management.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
• Flexibility to travel between Stamford and NYC as required.

Work Environment:
• The candidate will be based in the Stamford office, which houses Production, Graphics, and Broadcast Operations.
• On average, the candidate will work in Stamford 3 days a week, with travel to the NYC office for 1-2 days, primarily on Wednesdays.

- What projects will the candidate be working on?
Helpdesk support for users, laptop refresh deployment, software version upgrades and security updates, new hardware deployment, and network configuration.

- What will their day-to-day duties entail?
The primary responsibility is to assist users with their helpdesk-related needs, along with the other tasks mentioned above.

- What are the location requirements?
The role requires 2 days in the NY office and 3 days in the CT office. This schedule may vary based on operational needs (e.g., a new employee starting on a Monday may require IT support for onboarding, or a board of directors meeting may occur on a Thursday).

- What skills and experience are essential?
General knowledge of networking, familiarity with Windows OS and Mac OS, and a customer-oriented attitude.
