Location: Youngstown, OH
Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Midnight Shift)
Pay: $15.00/hour
- Eligible for performance-based raise after 60 days
- Additional raise opportunity at 90 days based on performance
This full-time, entry-level position is responsible for ensuring fabricated parts meet all customer specifications. The role involves hands-on inspection in the shop, calibration of measuring tools, and completion of quality documentation including first article reports and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts in a steel fabrication environment to ensure conformance to specifications
- Calibrate and maintain measuring tools
- Write and update work instructions, first article reports, and other QA documentation
- Assist operators in interpreting blueprints and weld specifications
- Ensure shop compliance with internal safety and quality procedures
- Minimum 2 years of relevant quality control or shop floor experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Blueprint reading experience required
- Experience with measuring tools such as micrometers and tape measures
- Knowledge of ISO documentation practices
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus
- Experience with Faro Arm operation is a plus
- Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles
